When inspiration hits,  it tends to hit hard. For weeks now I have been trying to decide on a theme for a small exhibition in july., and coming up blank. Do I go with safe landscapes,  eventhough every local photographer does those (quite a bit better than I do)?   Do I try to depict local life through portraits of the town's more colourful characters?  Do I go with a wildlife theme which was relatively popular at the last exhibition?   Or something completely different? Today it hit me. Do what you love!  What do I love?  Photographing people.  Black and white photos. Old-style gothic horror movies. Surrealism. Things that make you look

:thumb359771839: Having just re-opened after the Winter Break, Ben Crowe is back in the Connemara Blue workshop, creating some fantastic new designs in fused glass.  Eventhough he is not on Deviant Art as yet, I felt he deserved a feature! All handmade on the premises, I am always amazed at his latest creations. From Suncatchers to large wall-pieces, each individual piece is unique.  The suncatchers throw wonderful rainbows onto your walls :) This week the above Creeper Coasters really caught my attention.  Ben is huge Minecraft fan.  I hope to see more Minecraft designs soon! After my first wedding shoot on February 15th, I am now trying to decide on a theme (and suitable title) for my second exhibition this July.  The exhibition will be running for the whole month. Suggestions appreciated! I am also working on the final design stages of a hotel wedding brochure, which will feature some of my photos.
